This Privacy Policy explains how Txtopia.com (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use our Morse code translator and related text tools (the “Service”).
1. Our Core Privacy Promise
Your text never leaves your device for processing.
All translation, decoding, and encoding operations happen entirely in your web browser. We have no servers that receive your text, no database that stores it, and no analytics that capture your input or output content.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
We do not collect or store:
- The text or Morse code you enter
- Your translation results or decoded output
- Your name, email address, or physical address
- Account credentials or passwords
- IP addresses through the translator application (hosting services may process request metadata as described below)
- Device fingerprints
- Audio recordings or generated audio content
- Clipboard content
3. Information Processed Locally in Your Browser
When you use the Service, the following data is processed only on your device and never sent to us:

Local Settings
The following settings are stored in your browser's localStorage to remember your preferences:

If localStorage is unavailable, the Service continues to work with default settings. Translation and decoding are never affected.
4. Sharing
This version does not generate or restore shared links containing your text. Copy places the result on your clipboard only after you press Copy. Review your message before pasting it into another service.
5. Third-Party Services
Cloudflare Pages
The Service is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical request data (such as your IP address, browser type, and request URL) for the purpose of delivering the site to your browser, DDoS protection, and network security. Hosting request metadata is separate from translator content. Deployment-specific logging settings must be verified before launch.

Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure aggregate page visits and real-user performance. It is a cookie-free service and does not collect or use visitors' personal data for analytics. It may process the page path, referring site, country-level location, browser type, device type, and performance measurements such as Core Web Vitals. Query strings are not logged.
The analytics beacon never receives the text or Morse code you enter, translation results, diagnostics, generated audio, clipboard content, or locally saved speed, tone, and theme preferences. We do not send custom translator events. See the Cloudflare Web Analytics documentation and Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Advertising (if enabled)
The Service may display advertisements to support its free availability. If ads are enabled:
- Advertising partners (e.g., Google AdSense) may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads
- Google AdSense may use cookies to serve personalized or non-personalized ads based on your visit to this and other websites
- You can manage your ad preferences at adssettings.google.com
- For EU/EEA/UK users, we will implement a consent mechanism before loading personalized advertising cookies

Affiliate Links (if enabled)
The Service may include affiliate links to ham radio equipment and related products (e.g., Amazon Associates). When you click an affiliate link:

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
The Service is a general-audience educational tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because we do not collect personal information from any user, no child-specific data is processed by us.
If you are under 13, please do not use the Service. If you are between 13 and 17, please review these terms with a parent or guardian.
7. International Users
The Service is hosted using global CDN infrastructure. Since no user content is transmitted to us, your data remains on your device regardless of your location.
For EU/EEA/UK users: we respect the Do Not Track (DNT) and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If advertising is enabled in the future, we will implement a consent mechanism compliant with GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive before loading any advertising cookies.
